Rebecca Jo Budig
Rebecca Jo Budig, born on June 26, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, is an American actress and television presenter.
Budig graduated from the Cincinnati School of the Performing Arts (S.C.P.A.) and later went on to major in zoology at Miami University in Ohio. In 1993, Budig moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career. While there, she began studying with acting coaches Howard Fine and Jay Goldenberg at the Howard Fine Acting Studio and at the Young Actors Space, respectively.
Budig's first acting job was in Aerosmith's music video Living on the Edge. She later had a cameo role as a teenage girl saved by Chris O'Donnell's Robin in Batman Forever. In 1995, she auditioned for the role of Kelsey Jefferson on All My Children, but received an offer from Guiding Light, where she began her three-year stint as Michelle Bauer from (1995 to 1998).
Budig played the role of Patty in Captain Nuke and the Bomber Boys in 1995. She then portrayed Babsy in the 1996 film God's Lonely Man. Followed by James Dean: A Race with Destiny where she played acclaimed actress Natalie Wood and Bonehead Detectives in the Paleo World where she played Allie.
Both films were released in 1997. However, her most famous role has been that of the spoiled, rich girl-turned-makeup company executive Greenlee Smythe on All My Children a role which she originated and portrayed from August 11, 1999 until making her final appearance on All My Children on November 30, 2005. The role of Greenlee Symthe was supposed to last for only three months, but executives enjoyed her so much, she was offered a three-year contract. While on All My Children, Budig garnered much accolade from fans and press for her performance on the soap opera, as well as her character's pairing with Josh Duhamel's Leo du Pres.
Budig was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2001 and again in 2003. Her onscreen pairing with Duhamel earned them a Daytime Emmy Award nomination as well, for America's Favorite Couple in 2002. She was often called "Little Budig" by Duhamel, who had given her the nickname.
In 2003, Budig won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Younger Lead Actress in her role as Greenlee Smythe. Other notable roles include co-hosting The Sports Illustrated for Kids Show. Budig worked for the World Wrestling Federation as an interviewer for a short time on Sunday Night HEAT in 2000. She has made appearances on Out of Practice, as well as on Hope & Faith.
Budig recently did a movie called The Perfect Child (2007) featured on Lifetime with the leading role as Sarah Daniels. In addition, Budig has been seen on CSI. It was confirmed in late 2007 that she would be returning to All My Children as Greenlee Smythe, the role she originated. She began airing in 2008.
Emily Jane Browning
Emily Jane Browning, born on December 7, 1988, in Melbourne, Victoria, is an Australian award winning actress and model, probably best known for her role as Violet Baudelaire in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, for which she won the 2005 AFI International Award for Best Actress.
Browning has won an AFI Young Actor's Award in 2002 and was nominated for the same award in 1999 and 2003. She was also nominated for Broadcast Film Critics Association Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Performer and Young Artist Awards Best Performance in a Feature Film, Leading Young Actress (both 2005).
Browning is the daughter of Shelley and Andrew Browning. She says she learned her American accent from the television show Sesame Street on the ABC. She has two younger brothers, Nicholas (7 years younger) and Matthew (9 years younger). She remains based in Melbourne and was taking a break from acting to complete her education at Eltham High School, where, in November 2006, she completed her Victorian Certificate of Education exams.
Browning's acting career began at the age of 8 years old when she was noticed by a classmate's father at a school play and he recommended that she pursue acting as a profession. Shortly afterwards, she won a role alongside Judy Davis in the Hallmark Television movie, The Echo of Thunder. A successful career in Australian film and television productions soon followed, including The Man Who Sued God, in which she played the daughter of Billy Connolly's character. She later co-starred again with Connolly in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, in which she played the role of Violet Baudelaire.
Browning was scared she was going to get fired during filming, because of laughing too frequently at co-star Jim Carrey. Browning had a recurring role as Hayley Fulton on the popular television series Blue Heelers from 2000 until 2002 and played the character Alicia in five episodes of Something in the Air (2000-2001). She also played Katie Harwood in the 2002 horror film Ghost Ship; the same year she won an Australian Film Institute Award for Best Young Actress, and was nominated the following year. In 2006, Browning appeared in the music video for Evermore's "Light Surrounding You". In the making of video for the clip, the band stated, "...we suck as actors, so we decided to get Emily."
Browning attended the L'Oreal Fashion Festival as festival ambassador on 1 February 2007. She has stated interest in doing a sequel of the movie Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events although if a sequel was made, she would most likely not be cast as she has grown out of the role. Browning's latest film, The Uninvited (a remake of the Korean film A Tale of Two Sisters), was released on 30 January 2009.
Adrienne Janic
Adrienne Janic, born on July 25, 1974, in Whittier, California, is an actress.
Janic is the host of the new series ‘Hot Import Nights’ on the Speed Channel. Known as “AJ” in the automotive World, AJ was the spunky and fun Co-Host of the hit automobile makeover-show, OVERHAULIN’. Recently cancelled, the popular series is still seen worldwide on Discovery Channel International. AJ captivates viewers with her elegant beauty while impressing them with her gained knowledge and hands on experience of classic car restoration.
Janic also recently designed and built her own car, a 1968 Firebird, on the series ‘Hot Rod Tv’ on the Speed Channel. AJ’s other television duties include recent freelance work for E! Entertainment Television, TV Guide Channel and a series of weekend sports specials for CBS Sports. Currently AJ can be seen as Co-Host for a television direct marketing campaign for The “Ab Rocket” and can be seen hosting similar campaigns for “Eagle One” car care products and “Suzuki”. A top Ford model, AJ has graced the covers and pages of countless magazines and print advertisements.
Some of her favorite campaigns include a stint as one of the original Fanta Girls ( the yellow Fanta girl !), Lee Jeans, Bausch & Lomb, Hewlitt Packard and Parallel Clothing. Her experience on the catwalk includes shows for such designers as Calvin Klein, Richard Tyler and Alan del Rosario. As an actress, AJ has appeared in a number of television series including “Las Vegas”, “House”, “Complete Savages”, “Oliver Beene”, “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment” and “Kitchen Confidential”.
Janic has also been seen in the films “National Lampoon’s Cattle Call”, the psychological thriller “Marrow” and the sci-fi thriller “Disturbance”.
